Privacy Policy
Short version: you can take every test without an account, your history lives in your own browser, and we never sell personal information.
Who is responsible
Reaction Time Testers is run by Akshay Bhargava. For any privacy question, write to support@reactiontimetesters.com.
Data saved on your device
Your theme, sound setting, nickname, test history, best scores, daily results, streak, badges, recently viewed tests and favourites are kept in your browser's local storage. They never reach our servers unless you post a score. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and they do not move between devices.
Leaderboard scores
When you choose to post a score, we store the test name, the score, the nickname you typed and the date. Please do not use your real name. We do not link scores to emails, accounts or device IDs, and we may remove nicknames that break the terms.
Messages you send us
When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message. A form delivery service passes the message to our inbox. We use it only to reply and delete old messages we no longer need.
Analytics, cookies and ads
The site does not show ads or set tracking cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or advertising in future, this page will be updated first and, where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent.
Hosting
Like every website, our host records basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. These logs keep the site secure and are not used to identify you.
Children
The tests suit every age and work well in class. There is no chat and no account, and kids can play without sharing any personal information.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete a leaderboard entry or a message you sent, at any time by email. You can remove everything stored on your device by clearing site data in your browser.
